With the Fexcel Batch Processor "in one go", one can:
Create a set of PDF reports, extracting selected data from the data warehouse for reports already created in MS Excel.

Using MS Excel and Fexcel ETL in the background, the Fexcel Batch Processor (FBP), refreshes the cell values, extracting data from the Data Warehouse and creating PDF reports from the spreadsheets already defined using Fexcel and Excel.

FBP reads from a given task file on it's input to perform all the batch jobs (tasks) stored in such a task file. The task file should contain the directories where the report definitions are stored (the xls files), and also the destination directories, where the PDF are going to be created as a result of the batch process. Also contains a list of tasks the batch process should perform, like "extract", "print", etc.

A set of different task files could be used for different purposes. For example, one FBP task file could be used for extracting data and printing only a set of daily reports. Other FBP could be created for extracting data and printing monthly reports. Importing "Last year" balances could be done using a task file which extracts data. Another task could also be only printing a set of reports.
