Global River Cruises selects NINIVA AG for corporate reporting and consolidated reports of twenty-one companies

For Global River Cruises, NINIVA was the primary choice for meeting the company's financial reporting and consolidation needs.

The first project for Global River included the implementation of Fexcel HQ Suite, Fexcel Interfacing, and Fexcel Reporting among the company's fleet of boats which provided an integrated overview over multiple data sources (Fidelio Front Office, Micros POS, FO revenue reports, POS daily postings and Cost and Profit postings), and more effective tools for on-board reporting.

After uploading data from each boat via FTP, Fexcel transferred the data from all the boats to the summary or headquarter chart of accounts. The balances were then consolidated into one unified financial statement giving Global River a clear overview over their entire fleet.

After the stellar results from the implementation of HQ and on-board reporting tools, Global River Cruises again chose NINIVA to implement solutions for corporate reporting on the basis of Oracle Apps and corporate consolidated reports for twenty-one companies.

NINIVA and Comprendium join forces to create EasyContract

In cooperation with the Comprendium Group, NINIVA has developed an automated contract generating tool called EasyContract. Stemming from the idea of Comprendium CFO Caspar von Preysing, EasyContract highlights one of several joint initiatives between the two organizations.

Featuring a step-by-step, questionnaire-based user interface, the system works by selecting the relevant contract paragraphs from a database of legal clauses based on the user's questionnaire responses.

In a matter of minutes, the programs creates one of hundreds of contract variants, including not only the relevant contract clauses, but also other critical information such as customer data (name, bank account details, etc.), complicated leasing calculation tables, interest rates, payment streams, and other necessary data. The document is then printed and ready to be signed with no manual alterations needed.

NINIVA and Comprendium managed to develop a program that effectively and rapidly creates contracts while eliminating laborious hours and legal fees.

Hyatt International nimmt eine Pilot Installation von Fexcel fur Scala
zur Erstellung taglicher Berichte in Betrieb.

Ziel dieses kooperativen Pilotprojekts ist die Erstellung eines Werkzeugs zur
Erzeugung von Berichten, das einerseits dem Benutzer die Freiheit gibt, durch
Verwendung von SQL auf beliebige Felder in einer Scala Datenbasis zuzugreifen, und ihm andererseits ermoglicht ubernommene Daten in benutzerdefinierten Berichten zu verwenden.

Das derzeitige Ergebnis des Projekts ist ein Werkzeug, das fur jeden Teilnehmer auf demselben Server PDF Berichte erzeugt und verteilt.

Die Installation beinhaltet nur wenige Module: Das ETL Modul extrahiert Daten aus Scala wie zum Beispiel Kontenblatter, Abteilungscodes, Tagesstande, Monatsstande, Budgetsummen usw.

Das zweite Modul erlaubt die Erzeugung von Berichtsdefinitionen, einfach durch
Verwendung von MS Excel.

Der Batch Reporter, der automatisch Daten von allen Firmen, die denselben Server verwenden, sammelt, frischt die Berichtsinhalte auf indem er im Hintergrund Excel aufruft und die PDF Berichte erzeugt. Die Berichte werden verteilt und konnen mit einer Lotus Anwendung angesehen werden.
